About the Embassy
The Embassy of Ecuador in Spain serves as the principal diplomatic representation of the Republic of Ecuador in the Kingdom of Spain. Its mission is to strengthen bilateral relations, promote Ecuadorian interests, and provide support to Ecuadorian citizens residing in or visiting Spanish territory.
Through its diplomatic functions, the embassy works to foster cooperation across political, economic, cultural, and social spheres, reinforcing the historic ties between Ecuador and Spain.
The embassy coordinates closely with the Consulate and with SENAMI — the National Secretariat for Migrants — to ensure comprehensive assistance for the Ecuadorian community in Spain.
Diplomatic Mission
The embassy represents Ecuador before Spanish authorities and institutions, facilitating dialogue and cooperation between the two nations. It plays a central role in advancing Ecuador's foreign policy objectives within Spain and contributes to regional coordination efforts across Europe.
In addition to its diplomatic work, the embassy supports cultural exchange, educational initiatives, and tourism promotion, helping to share Ecuador's rich heritage with the Spanish public.
